PokerFest Romania is prepared for a big leap. For the first time in our history, we are ready to organize stages across borders, addressing new poker communities in Eastern Europe and beyond.
It is our pleasure to announce that PokerFest has all the details set for a special stage in Macedonia, programmed to take place from June 24th to June 28th 2013. Our host for this event will be Ramada & Princess Hotel and Casino, located in Gevgelija, a small and cosy town right on the border between Macedonia and Greece, and 50 kilometers away from Bulgaria.
The closest airport is Thessaloniki in Greece, 70 kilometers away from the casino. All players that will take part in our stage have free transport from the airport to the casino and return.
Even more, PokerFest players will also have special room prices in our partner hotel, Ramada & Princess. Although Ramada it’s a five-star hotel, only for PokerFest players, the price for a single room is €30/night and a double room costs €40/night!
Our schedule includes a Main Event with a buy-in of €540+€60 and one re-entry possibility, two side-events (NLH Turbo with a buy-in of €135+€15 Second Chance and a NLH Knockout with a buy-in of €100+€100+€20). Also, the first two days are reserved for two supersatellites in the main event, each having a buy-in of €25+€5, with rebuys and addon available.

Maybe you are not familiar with Gevgelija or Princess Casino, but that shouldn’t be a problem. A simple internet search will return lots of positive information and the images inside the hotel and the casino are quite astonishing, making us to eagerly look forward for PokerFest Macedonia 2013.
October finds us in Budapest
Besides PokerFest Macedonia, we have another pleasant surprise for you. In October 2013, PokerFest will organize a stage in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with a vast history and tradition, but also with a large poker community. Our host in Hungary will be Tropicana Casino, a state administered establishment with high quality services and exciting atmosphere.
The details and structures for this stage are yet to be settled and we will announce them on pokerfest.ro in the near future.
