Dragoș Iacob wins the second edition of Midnight Poker after switching heads-up to the match favorite
The second edition of the Midnight Poker TV show was special: no less than three participants made the finals in the Road to Vegas season. Marian Popescu, Andrei Roșcan and Florin Șoșoacă. Of these, Roșcan came with the best portfolio of results and a professional career of 6 years.
As expected, the favorite Andrei Roșcan got far in the tournament but had to give up the title to Dragoș Iacob, 32, at the end of the almost 3 hours of play, the two sharing the last $ 5,000 from the 7,700 prize pool.
As usual, this edition also had a special guest – this time Cătălin Cazacu, probably the most competitive Romanian sports motorcyclist, with a career of almost 30 years in motorcycles at the age of only 36! But Cătălin could not confirm his competitive spirit, being the first to be eliminated after, exasperated by the book run, he played a blind hand. As usual, Cătălin came to the comment booth and gave us an interesting interview that can be listened to on our Youtube page – where all the important episodes and phases of the game are posted.
