The NetBet Open festival, one of the most exciting events these days, took place in Vox Maris Grand Resort Costinesti, one of the most pleasurable holyday locations in Romania.

After five days of intense poker action in the Main Event, a Bulgarian player managed to scoop the trophy and the biggest prize. His name is Emil Gramatikov, a cash-game enthusiast and specialist that lately has managed to prove himself in the live-tournament scene. Gramatikov’s success is not a coincidence. In our previous event he managed to finish in 9th place, and this time came back to finish the job.

Job done after an explosive final table, where the first seven eliminations came in less than two hours, to leave Gramatikov in a direct battle with Nandor Solyom for the title. The local pro had the most of the chips, but that didn’t discourage Gramatikov. He was patient, consequent in his strategy, and after another three hours of heads-up, his efforts were fully rewarded, cashing in first for a total of €30,000.

Here’s the full payout of the NetBet Open’s Final Table:

Place Name Prize
1 Emil Gramatikov  € 30,000.00
2 Nandor Solyom  € 19,700.00
3 Aexandru Ersen Baciu  € 14,200.00
